Based on the leaks so far, the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 3 is expected to come with a 4.7 inch Retina HD LCD display and will also feature a Home button with an embedded fingerprint sensor. It looks likely to be the last Apple smartphone to come with an LCD display panel and a home button.
The device is expected to be powered by the Apple A15 processor along with 3GB of RAM, while the Plus variant will pack 4GB of RAM. The chipset also brings support for 5G connectivity to the phone. There will be a single 12-megapixel camera sensor on the back with advanced photography features.
In its latest estimate, JP Morgan says that this new iPhone SE could attract around 1.4 billion low- and mid-range Android phone users and around 300 million older iPhone model users. It raised forecasts for iPhone SE sales for the fiscal year 2022 to 30 million units and annual iPhone shipment expectations to 250 million units, which is 10 million higher than this year.
