Three years after Anna Söderberg’s death, Ivo’s decision now comes in a case that has marked healthcare for pregnant women in Stockholm. The decision states that the licensed doctor who received Anna Söderberg failed in her assessment – which led to her death.
But the relatives think that there are more shortcomings that are already starting with the ambulance staff, who took Anna Söderberg to a hospital without maternity care. And that it continued even after the hospital stay.
– We were worried but when a doctor says that everything is fine, then you do not stay in the hospital, says Rickard Almqvist, Anna’s husband.
