Predictions Donald Trump is about to win the South Carolina

After the victory, Trump’s grip on his party’s presidential candidacy becomes even stronger.

Former President of the United States Donald Trump is about to win the South Carolina Republican primary, according to the forecast of research company Edison Research.

The matter is also reported on, among other things, by the US media NBC and CNN referring to their own predictions. The media announced their predictions early on Sunday, Finnish time, almost at the same second as the polling stations closed.

According to forecasts, Trump is getting 60 percent of the vote.

Trump’s only opponent Nikki Haley is the former governor of the state of South Carolina, but despite this, Trump seems to beat him by clear numbers.

Trump has received about 60 percent of the vote and Haley just under 40 percent, while about 74 percent of the vote has been counted, according to Edison Research.

According to the voting results, Trump is even more certain to be the presidential candidate of the Republican Party in the upcoming elections.

Trump comment fresh from the forecasts, describing the profit as even greater than expected.

– I have never seen the Republican Party as united as it is at this moment, Trump said.

Trump did not mention his opponent Haley once in his speech.

The South Carolina result predicts the candidate

The state of South Carolina has a reputation as a predictor of the future Republican presidential candidate. Since 1980, only once has a candidate who was not the first choice of the voters of South Carolina become the party’s presidential candidate.

Trump’s lead before the so-called Super Tuesday, which will be organized on March 5th, is significant, but Haley has not announced that she will leave the race, at least so far. On Super Tuesday, fifteen states are supposed to vote.

Despite the bad outlook, Haley announced in her own speech that she would continue as a candidate.

– I said earlier this week that I would continue as a candidate, whatever happened in South Carolina. I am a woman of my word.

According to Haley, it’s not about her or her political future, but about who can win the presidency Joe Biden in the presidential elections in November.

– We have to beat Joe Biden. I don’t think Donald Trump can beat Biden, Haley said.

According to Haley, Trump’s statements drive voters away almost every day.

Former UN ambassador Haley has strongly criticized Trump in the past and said that his possible second presidential term would be plagued by scandals from day one and would lead to chaos.
