Predator: Hunting Grounds Will Bring New Content
Predator: Hunting Grounds is an immersive game set in the Predator universe and offering players an asymmetrical shooter experience. Players can take on the role of the Predator and collect rewards as they attempt to complete paramilitary operations as a member of an elite Fireteam special forces team. Illfonic informed that new content for the game and local support for PlayStation 5 will be provided in 2024 and 2025. Collaborating with 20th Century Games as the new publisher, the studio will also offer an updated PlayStation version with cross-platform online gameplay.
Illfonic CEO Charles Brungardt states that the game has a strong and enthusiastic player base and that the community wants the game to be updated and supported. Stating that the company will now be active in publishing games, Brungardt emphasized that it is imperative to remake Predator: Hunting Grounds. It was announced that patch 2.49 for the game will be released next month and existing PC and PS4 versions will receive this update.
Future DLC content and a special update for PlayStation 5 will meet players later this year. These updates will further improve the balance and playability of the game.
