(Finance) – Prada approaches the acquisition of Versace from Capri holdings. Bloomberg reports this according to which an agreement was found for a price of up to 1.5 billion euros and the agreement could be reached by the end of March, if the negotiations should be successful.
According to the US agency that cites sources close to the dossier, in this way Prada “could create an Italian fashion pole capable of competing better with the global big names in the sector, above all LVMH and Kering. For Italy, after decades in which the tricolor brands ended up in foreign hands, a possible agreement represents a turnaround in the world of luxury”.
