PROVINCE OF UTRECHT – Due to the relaxed corona measures, amateur clubs are allowed to play practice matches again in the run-up to the restart of the competitions. Below is an overview of the matches played.
Spakenburg – Sparta Nijkerk
The exhibition game between second divisionist Spakenburg and third divisionist Sparta Nijkerk ended in a 1-1 draw. The Blues took a 1-0 lead in the first half via Vince Gino Dekker, after which the visitors put the equalizer on the scoreboard in the second half.
DOVO – SC Genemuiden
The practice match between third divisionist DOVO and SC Genemuiden in the main division also ended in a draw: 2-2. The Veenendaal goals were made by Oktay Öztürk and Timo Pluk.
GVVV – AWC
GVVV has gained confidence against the main division AWC. The last of the second division won the exhibition game 5-0. Justin Spies, Fabio Hendriksen, addition Adham El Idrissi and two hits from Joshua Patrick made up the final score.
Katwijk – Sportlust’46
Sportlust’46 went down at Katwijk. The third divisionist from Woerden lost 3-1 against the leader of the second division. Marley Berkvens made the only goal of Sportlust’46.
IJsselmeer Birds – Young FC Dordrecht
Second divisionist IJsselmeervogels was visited by Jong FC Dordrecht. The Reds won 5-2. Danny van den Meiracker, Kai Heerings, Steven Sánchez Angulo, Jerrel Hak (Attack who is on trial for third divisionist Unitas) and Jeffrey Buitenhuis scored on behalf of IJsselmeervogels.
AFC – Eemdijk
Dutch big league team Eemdijk visited second divisionist AFC. Before the break, the team from Amsterdam was already leading 5-0. In the second half Frank Heus scored the honorary goal on behalf of Eemdijk.
