Nearly 2000 activists are invited to participate in work, in order to formalize the candidacy of Laurent Gbagbo to represent the colors of the PPA-CI in the 2025 presidential election in Ivory Coast. The former president will deliver a speech this afternoon to present his program.

At PPA-CI, the choice of this personality is unanimous. But at this stage, his status raises questions: Laurent Gbagbo has benefited from a presidential pardon since August 2022. In parallel with this Convention, his party intends to hold discussions. On March 15, the PPA-CI sent a letter to the Prime Minister to request an interview to discuss the reinstatement of Laurent Gbagbo on the lists.
