It took several months that Amazon confirmed the start of the series of the series. It was this Thursday, February 13, 2025 that season 3 of Power rings was officially announced by Prime Video. A decision that agrees with the wish of the creators of the series, which had announced that he wanted to produce a series in five seasons. For the time being, the date of putting online of the next episodes is not known. We know, however, that directors Charlotte Brändström (The Witcher, Outlander, Grey’s Anatomy …), Sanaa Hamri (Love and game, Something New), and Stefan Schwartz (My Lady Jane, Suspicion, the boys…) will work on the new episodes.

On the official X account of Power ringsproduction has given more information on the intrigue of season 3: a time jump awaits subscribers. “Season 3 takes place at the culmination of war between the elves and Sauron”, it is written, while the latter “seeks to make the unique ring which will give him the advantage to win the war and finally conquer all Middle -earth “.

Fans will however have to be patient: it took two years of production between the first two seasons, the first being released at the start of the 2022 school year, and the second at the start of the 2024 school year. So we can expect season 3 does not come out before the start of the 2026 school year. In the meantime, the entire first two seasons of the series derived from the Rings is available on Prime Video.

Thanks to a video published on social networks, Amazon Prime Video has lifted the veil on the creative team that works to the design of the series adapting the universe of the Lord of the Rings.
