(Finance) – The price of electricity on the Power Exchange fallsin the week from Monday 18 to Sunday 24 April 2022. The average purchase price of electricity (PUN) fell in fact, a 227.13 euro / MWh down by 1.1% compared to that of the previous week.
This is what emerges from the usual weekly data published by the Electricity Market Manager (GME), the company responsible in Italy for the organization and management of the electricity market.
Also according to the surveys, the volumes of electricity traded on the stock exchange at 3.9 million MWh (-1.3%) while the liquid assets of the market rises to 77.9% (+14 percentage points).
The average sales prices, declining everywhere, varied between € 223.76 per MWh in the South and Calabria and € 229.61 per MWh in the North.
