On July 1, influencer Poupette Kenza traumatized her followers with a disturbing video: while her husband was unconscious and having difficulty breathing, she filmed herself screaming, giving in to panic. A reaction far from adequate according to our medical director, Dr. Gérald Kierzek, an emergency physician.

Drama or reality? This Monday, July 1, 2024, a new series of stories by Poupette Kenza set the web ablaze with its strange and disturbing content. It shows the young woman having a panic attack in front of her unconscious husband.

“Don’t let go of me!”, a family drama broadcast on Instagram

In a series of videos, Poupette Kenzan, never letting go of her phone, films her husband Allan lying on the floor of the house, unconscious and having difficulty breathing, as well as herself, in the grip of panic. Screaming “Do not let me go !”, She tries by all means to wake her husband, hitting him with her hands and feet to make him react. Another traumatic detail is that the couple’s children seem to witness the entire filmed scene, helpless and in tears.

Allan eventually seems to come to his senses. In a message later, Poupette Kenza addressed her community: “Allan is doing better”she confirmed while specifying that it was “towards the hospital”.

We don’t film a scene of distress

The incongruous scene does not fail to provoke a reaction from our medical director and emergency physician, Dr. Kierzek, who points out that:

“In case of discomfort, rather than filming yourself, it is better to: 1/ Protect 2/ Alert 3/ Help rather than film yourself.”

An imperative that seems to be obvious but which clearly did not occur to Poupette Kenza.

“That said, the discomfort does not seem too serious (his eyes are open, he seems to be breathing and, above all, he is waking up quickly…). She is stimulating him (with her hands and feet?) which may be a good reflex to check that the person is reacting and rule out cardiac arrest. But what we must not do above all is waste time in raising the alarm the 15th or the 18th !”

Yet another bad buzz from the influencer?

The question our doctor asks himself is above all “EIs this a set-up or not? On the internet, many internet users have doubts…

Probably a set-up. And hearing the terrified child in the background crying… We urgently need to stop giving importance to these individuals.”

And while we can only hope that her husband is doing well today, the place of video in the family has been problematic for a while. The mother is regularly singled out by Internet users for inappropriate videos featuring her children: one letting her son eat soap, another showing her daughter talking about her father’s “weenie” that she allegedly saw… Still others, evoking injuries, have led the young woman to be suspected of child abuse. This latest broadcast should not help the young woman restore her image.
