“Pou listwa”, new album by rapper K-Lib Mapou

On February 7, 2022, rapper Klib Mapou, whose real name is Valckensy Dessin, released Pou listwaan album that aims to make history, notably by retracing the highlights of the last 10 years in Haiti.

After several years spent in hibernation, as the artist explains, K-Lib Mapou, rapper of great talent, activist against corruption and social injustice, signs his big comeback with an album which wants to be an x-ray of society Haitian society of the past ten years, characterized in particular by assassinations, corruption and an unprecedented migration crisis. Pou listwaa 17-track hip hop album exclusively in Creole brings together artists from different generations, and writes the history of the last decade without language of wood.

In the chronicle “Culture of words”, we evoke the different meanings of the Creole word “Pase”.
