(Finance) – The session of the Milan Stock Exchange closes with an increase, with the rest of Europe in the bull’s eye. The Wall Street stock market rises modestly with theS&P-500which highlights an increase of 0.64%.
The season of corporate results is in full swing. Today the focus is on technology stocks, after the Dutch semiconductor machinery company ASML Holding recorded excellent quarterly orders and the German software giant SAP has announced a restructuring plan for 2024 that will affect 8,000 roles, in a push towards artificial intelligence. The next sector under observation will be luxury, given that the French conglomerate will release the data tomorrow LVMH.
On the currency market, theEuro / US Dollar continues trading with a fractional gain of 0.40%. Swap in reverse thegold, which slips to 2,012.5 dollars an ounce. Rain of purchases on oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil), which shows a gain of 1.75%.
The Spreads takes a small step downwards, with a drop of 1.26% to +157 basis points, while the yield on the 10-year BTP stands at 3.88%.

At the closing in Milan it appears that the value of trades in the session of 01/24/2024 was equal to 2.34 billion euros, with an increase of 12.76%, compared to the previous 2.07 billion euros; while the volumes traded went from 0.54 billion shares in the previous session to 0.57 billion.

Small loss for DiaSorinwhich trades at -1.01%.
Among the protagonists of the FTSE MidCap, Technoprobe (+4.31%), D’Amico (+3.66%), Seco (+3.28%) e LU-VE Group (+3.22%).
The worst performances, however, were recorded on Juventuswhich closed at -3.96%.
Under pressure Saraswhich suffered a decline of 2.83%.
