Spain and Portugal won their Nations League group A match late on Sunday.
Undermanned Spain won its first national football match since the European Championship gold by defeating Switzerland 4-1 away in the Nations League.
Joselu and Fabian Ruiz took Spain to a 2–0 lead with their hits in the last quarter, but the defender By Robin Le Normand a straight red card in the 20th minute confused the team’s play for a while. Swiss Zeki Amdouni narrowed the lead to 1-2 before the break.
In the second half, PSG midfielder Ruiz scored again in the 77th minute and the Substitute Ferran Torres sealed the Final Readings at the 80th minute.
Denmark lead the fourth group of the Nations A League with six points after beating Serbia 2-0 in Copenhagen in their second match. Spain had previously played a goalless draw against Serbia.
Ronaldo lifted Portugal to victory at the end

For Portugal, the victory was the second in a row in the A1 group of the Nations League. In the same group, Croatia defeated Poland’s 38-year-old Luka Modric with a 1–0 goal.
