The day after Joséphine Baker’s entry into the Pantheon, the Musée de l’homme takes up this subject with the exhibition Portraits of France. The exceptional life paths of 29 women and 29 men are highlighted. Unknown, famous or forgotten, they were decisive actors in the history of France. Among the 318 names proposed, 58 figures were retained.
