“Portrait” by Mehdi Kerchouche opens the ball at the 31st edition of Suresnes Cités Danse

It has been the flagship event for urban dances for 30 years. The Suresnes Cités Danse festival in the west of Paris is constantly innovating. Opening this weekend, the creation of a young choreographer with a meteoric rise: Mehdi Kerkouche. This child from Suresnes of Algerian origin paints an electrifying family portrait, in the show Portrait.

About fifteen choreographers, 50 performers, a boom and a battle are on the menu for this 31st edition of the Suresnes Cités Danse festival, which is being held from January 6 to February 5, 2023 at the Jean Vilar theater in Suresnes, in the Hauts-de-Seine.
