The German chain has existed in Sweden since 2007 and in 2020 it was close to the entire Swedish part going bankrupt.
“The Swedish Vapiano group has continuously carried out major savings to counteract the situation that has arisen, but the crises have succeeded each other,” it says in the application for reconstruction that the Stockholm district court approved, writes the newspaper.
The plan is now to implement further savings and sell three of the six restaurants that remain.
