Volkswagen Passat was launched in the summer of 1973 and quickly became a favorite among Swedish car buyers. For several decades, it has been the mindset of a spacious and sensible family car, which has led to breathtaking sales figures.
Popular at home
Some buyers were addressed by simpler versions with sparse equipment and weak engine, while others bet on top models with four -wheel drive and more features.
In Sweden you can still buy a new passat, but in Norway the situation is another.
Volkswagen has decided there to invest completely on electric cars, which means that you can no longer buy a new Passat from a Norwegian dealer.
The result? The second -hand market has exploded.
