Popular artist and actor Sven-Bertil Taube has died at the age of 87. He died of natural causes, his manager Anders Ramstedt told news agency TT.
As the son of the singer Evert Taube, he is perhaps best known for his recordings of his father’s music. He also achieved great success with audiences as an actor on stage and in films. The first record came in 1960 when he interpreted Bellman, the following year an interpretation of his father’s music. Taube lived much of his life in London where he also died. He is survived by his wife and four children.
