Popular action thriller is already getting season 2

In the new Netflix series The Night Agent, FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) has to wait in the basement of the White House for phone calls that never come. When the doorbell rings one day, the protagonist lands directly in a conspiracy.

After the release of season 1, the action thriller series has become an instant hit. That’s why Netflix has already announced good news for fans.

Netflix’s The Night Agent is getting season 2

In contrast to the streaming service’s constant cancellations, Netflix has already announced that The Night Agent is getting a second season, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The sequel will have 10 episodes.

In a press release, the streaming service revealed that The Night Agent has clocked up 168.71 million total viewing hours on Netflix since its March 23, 2023 release. This makes the series the most-watched title of the week. The Night Agent also made it into the top 10 of the charts in a total of 93 countries.

After the first season of the Netflix series is based on the book of the same name by Matthew Quirk * The Night Agent, the Storyline for season 2 still completely open. However, showrunner Shawn Ryan has already revealed that he has concrete plans for more material. It is not yet known when The Night Agent Season 2 will come to Netflix.
