Filip Hjert and Kirill Nilsson have decided to do what they can to raise money to support Ukraine, and at the same time give the people of Årjängs a chance to show their support.
All money from the sale goes directly to support the vulnerable in Ukraine.
Filip was born and raised in Årjäng, but now lives in Stockholm where he works as a designer. Kirrill is from Ukraine, but has lived in Sweden since 2013 and works on weekdays as, among other things, a festival organizer.
– I have direct contact with war victims and see their suffering, says Kirill Nilsson.
Collected for relief organizations
They have also received contributions from several local actors, both companies and private individuals. Among other things, a local grocery store has sponsored almost all the ingredients for the pizzas.
Money that comes in is distributed via contacts to local aid organizations in Ukraine.
– We have already received around SEK 19,000 in support from various companies and private individuals. Pizza sales today, we hope to double that money, says Filip Hjert.
