(Finance) – Unipol does not intend to acquire further shares Of Banca Popolare di Sondrio in the next six monthsnor exercise control, even de facto, over the bank. This is what emerges from a document sent to CONSOB on the occasion of the update of the stake held in the Lombardy institution, after having risen from 9.5% to 19.7% through a reverse accelerated bookbuilding procedure.
Furthermore, Unipol does not intend to propose the integration or revocation of the administrative or control bodies of Banca Popolare di Sondrio currently in office, reserving the right to evaluate whether to propose its own candidates upon the natural expiry of said bodies.
