Poor Things star Emma Stone applies to appear on one of the most popular TV shows every year – and is rejected

Poor Things star Emma Stone applies to appear on one

Emma Stone has had several triumphant months. Since the Venice premiere of the extraordinary sci-fi adventure Poor Things, she has been a big favorite for the film Oscar for Best Actress. She also amazes from week to week in the idiosyncratic series The Curse, which is shown here on Paramount+.

In other words: Emma Stone is – once again – the star of the moment in Hollywood. Actually, all doors should be open to her. However, as it turns out, there is a TV show called Stone ice cold every year. No Oscar in the world gets you into the selection of candidates who appear on Jeopardy! compete against each other.

Hollywood star Emma Stone has better chances at the Oscars than on the popular game show Jeopardy!

Speaking to Variety, Stone reveals that she auditions once every year for Jeopardy! advertised, but never taken.

I apply every June. I don’t want to be on ‘Celebrity Jeopardy.’ I want to earn my spurs. You can only take the test once a year with your email address, and I never made it onto the show. I watch the show every night and note how many answers I get right.

Emma Stone (outraged by her rejection from Jeopardy! again)

On Jeopardy! it is about a game showwhich was first broadcast on the US network NBC in 1964 and continues to this day flickers across home screens. RTL brought the format to Germany in the early 1990s. The gameplay has not changed over time.

Unlike many other game shows, Jeopardy! not about the answers, but the questions. Three candidates are each presented with an answer in three rounds of the game and then have to answer it find the appropriate questionwhich has guaranteed a great entertainment factor for decades.

Currently, Stone’s next Oscar win is more likely than her participation in a Jeopardy! Perhaps those responsible for the show raise their cry for help and get them on a shipment soon.
