After hours of patience, the lawyers of Guy-Hervé Kam now know the terms of their judicial supervision. But the conditions laid down by the investigating judge are more like those of a ” surviving residence “, denounce his lawyers. The latter met with the judge in charge of the case on the conditions of his release.
According to one of his advices, the activist and coordinator of the Sens movement handed over his passport and driving license to the investigating judge. He will now have security guards with him day and night, every day of the week. These agents will follow him during all his movements “, his defense said.
Guy-Hervé Kam is also prohibited from leaving the Burkinabe capital Ouagadougou, and he will have to report twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, to the military court to notify his presence. One of his lawyers describes all these conditions as ” measures of deprivation of his liberty. However, this is not what is meant in the order of the chamber of control of the investigation ” he concludes.
