Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki announced with these words Wagner members

While the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, Poland continues to be cautious about possible dangers from Russia. Finally, a remarkable Wagner statement came from Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

“NOW THE SITUATION IS EVEN MORE DANGEROUS”

At today’s press conference, Prime Minister Morawiecki warned about the Russian mercenary group Wagner troops, saying:

“At least 100 Wagner troop members have been deployed in the Suwalki region on the borders of Poland and Lithuania. Now the situation is getting even more dangerous. This is definitely a step towards more hybrid attacks on Polish soil.”

Morawiecki suggested that Wagner union members could masquerade as Belarusian border guards to help migrants cross into the EU, and Wagner members could pretend to be migrants to cross the border.

Morawiecki also said that this year, 16,000 attempts have been made to cross the border between Belarus and Poland. According to the EU Border Protection Agency (Frontex), there were 2,312 illegal border crossings from Belarus to EU countries between January and June.

Poland and Lithuania have erected fences on their borders with Belarus to reduce the number of people crossing their borders illegally. (UAV)
