French police have seized 72 firearms from the home of French actor Alain Delon in the countryside south of Paris. According to prosecutors, Delon, 88, had a shooting range but no permit for any of the seized weapons.
Alain Delon has had a successful film career but has made few film recordings after 1990 since he suffered a stroke in 2019. Now he is at the center of a family dispute in which his son accuses his sister of trying to take advantage of his father’s failing health.
When an official from the district court visited Alain Delon’s home and discovered weapons, the police decided to search the house.
