Police seeking public help in identifying ‘person of interest’

Man 52 arrested after attempted bank robbery

Brantford police are asking the public to help identify a man who approached young people in three separate incidents on Monday (Aug. 28).

Police say they received three calls to 300 King George Rd between 9:30 pm and 10 pm In all three incidents a man approached a young person in the parking lot at King George Road and Powerline Road.

No physical injuries were reported as a result of the incidents.

The suspect has been described as a white male, between 40 and 50 years of age with a large muscular build. He has long brown/grey hair in a ponytail and was wearing a black t-shirt and shorts.

Police say the suspect reportedly left the parking lot in a vehicle described to police as a dark blue pick-up truck, possibly a Dodge Ram

Police are asking anyone who was near the location of the incidents to review any video surveillance or dash cam footage.
