Police say a female was sexually assaulted by two different individuals at two separate times while in the downtown core on June 25 between 10:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m.

One suspect was described as a brown male, about 26 years old, with a stocky build and spiked dark hair, police said. He was wearing blue shorts, black sandals, a floral shirt, and hoop earrings in each ear.

Police say the second suspect is a black male, about 30 years old with a narrow v-shaped face, stubble on his chin and short, buzzed hair. He was wearing dark coloured pants, black shoes and a blue “Crooks & Castle” T-shirt.

Sexual assault is any unwanted act of a sexual nature imposed by one person upon another. Forced or coerced intercourse, grabbing, touching, or kissing can be defined as sexual assault, police say.
