Police seek public’s help in EZT robbery investigation

The Oxford OPP is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect linked to a robbery in East Zorra-Tavistock.

Police began the investigation Wednesday night shortly after a male suspect entered a store on Highway 59 in Huntingford and demanded cash.

The suspect, who left on foot, was described as a white male who was wearing a black balaclava, a black hoodie with a gray hoodie underneath, light-washed blue jeans with tears, and black socks with no shoes.

Officers with the Oxford detachment’s crime unit are asking for the public’s help with the investigation. Anyone with information on the suspect or robbery, including video surveillance from the surrounding area in the time leading up to and following the robbery, are urged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
