Police seek publics help after Six Nations gas station fire

Police on Six Nations of the Grand River are asking for the public’s help after the gas pumps at KT Gas and Convenience on Highway 54, east of Painter Road, were set on fire.

Police said that security footage shows that, at about 10:30 pm on June 28, a man with a gas can got out of the passenger side of a dark blue of black Chevrolet Silverado 2500, crawled under a security gate, ran towards the pumps and lit a kiosk and pump on fire. He then returned to the truck, which drove away eastbound on Highway 54.

The man was wearing all black clothing, black shoes and a camouflage mask.

Employees quickly extinguished the fire.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 519-445-2811 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.crimestoppersbb.com.
