Police seek person of interest in fraud incident

Norfolk OPP are asking for the public to help identify a person of interest in a fraud incident at a Queensway East business in Simcoe.

Police say a member of the public reported that they had lost their wallet early in the day on March 27.

The victim discovered that the lost bank cards had been used to make several purchases at businesses in Simcoe.

The person of interest is described as a Caucasian male, about 30-35 years of age with brown hair and facial hair, wearing a gray plaid shirt, jeans, and a gray baseball cap.

The individual was seen leaving the area in a black 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that had been reported stolen in Aylmer.

An ongoing investigation and anyone with relevant information is urged to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
