WOODSTOCK – Police here were looking for a black sedan after shots were fired into a home on Monday.

There were no injuries, police said.
A report of shots being fired brought officers to the Harcourt Crescent/Upper Thames Drive area, where they found the home hit with the bullet holes, police said.
The home at 256 Harcourt Cr. is located in an area of new homes in the city’s north end.
Police were looking for a black, four-door BMW sedan with no plates, and have issued images of the vehicle from a security camera.
On Tuesday, four bullet holes were visible in the garage door and a pane of glass in the front door was shattered. It appears to be a newly finished, high-end home but the front steps were not yet constructed, suggesting it may not be occupied.
Gun, drugs seized from suspects sleeping in vehicle
Essex County OPP seized a firearm, knives, and a quantity of illicit drugs after discovering two individuals asleep inside an idling vehicle.

The officer reported a “suspicious vehicle with the engine running” shortly after midnight on Sept. 11 while on patrol on Russell Street in Leamington.
The officer approached the vehicle, reportedly noticed open alcohol, and then attempted to wake the sleeping occupants.
According to OPP, the two individuals were taken into custody without incident.
During the investigation, officers seized one firearm, a quantity of illicit drugs, including suspected fentanylseveral knives, and other offense-related items.
Both the 46-year-old and 36-year-old residents of the Town of Kingsville were arrested and faced multiple charges.
The charges include possession of more then 30 gram of dried cannabis in a public place, possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number, possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, and having care and control of a vehicle with an open container of liquor .
Both accused were taken into custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in downtown Windsor.
