Police report assault, Stockholm

“In Bredäng, a man was held down by passers-by until the police arrived at the scene,” the police write on their website.
The police in Stockholm County report this:
The man who was held outside on Ålgrytevägen had injured another man with a stabbing weapon. This must have happened near a park.
The police who are on the scene have said that the victim is injured in the upper body and taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter. The initial statement that the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. The police will go to the relevant hospital to interview him when possible.
The perpetrator who is arrested on suspicion of serious assault will be taken to hospital by the police, this is because he has injuries that need treatment before he is taken to the prison.
