The Initiative, Which RAND from March 22 to March 31, featured heightened Enfurcement, Education and Community Outreach.
In the Blitz, 4,737 Drivers Were Educated on the Dangers of Immediate Driving, Police Said.
Officers Made One Arrest For Imocontred Driving, While 13 Motorists WERE ISUED THREE-DAY LISSENS SUSTIONS.
One Driver Receed A Seven-Day License Suspension, with 47 Motorists Providing Roadside Breath Samples.
One suspended driver was identified at a ride checkpoint, and another person with outstanding was arrested.
Provincial Offer Notices Were also Issued.
“This is a community effort, one that requires all of us to act responsibly, spread awareness, and support each Other in Making the Choice to Drive Sober,” Police Said Wednesday. “It is about Holding Ourselves and Others CHIPTABLE FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE on the road.”

“What may seem like a harmless decision in the moment can result in injury, death, or long-term trauma for victim and families,” police Said. “If you are prescription or Recreational Drugs, Know How They Affect Your Ability to Drive and Take Appropriat Precautions.
“It’s not just about following the Law – it’s about making the responsibility choice that keeps our roads safe for Everyone.”
Residents are urged to plan ahead, by designating a sober driver, calling a taxi, using rideshare service or making alternative transport arrangements.
