In the summer of 2023, the next event occurred which now risks jeopardizing the policeman’s credentials. In questioning, the police say that for some time they had a problem with a moped driver who drove through Västervik. When a moped appeared, with a driver with a similar description, the policeman followed. The only problem was that it was the “wrong” moped rider.
Denies crime
The policeman drove into the oncoming lane and straight at the teenager on the moped, who was crushed under the police car. The teenager escaped with scrapes and pain in a finger.
