Oxford OPP is appealing for witnesses to a Nov. 9 single-vehicle collision in Norwich Township.

Officers were sent to Oxford Road 13 between Springford and Newark at about 3:30 pm Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle had entered a ditch and has collided with a hydro pole.
No injuries were reported at the time of the incident by the lone occupant, Oxford OPP say.

SUV stolen in Simcoe
Norfolk OPP is investigating the theft of an SUV from a Cullimore Lane address in Simcoe.
The theft took place sometime between midnight Nov. 16 and 4:09 pm Nov. 17. The stolen vehicle is a white 2022 Ford Bronco.

Impaired driving charges
A 52-year-old Simcoe woman has been charged with drinking and driving offenses after being arrested by Norfolk OPP on Nov. 15.
Officers stopped a vehicle at about 9:38 pm on McDowell Road East in Simcoe. After testing the driver’s sobriety, the woman was taken into custody without incident, said police.
The woman has been charged with impaired driving and driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in her blood. She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Dec. 17.
