Police investigate theft of UTV and Seadoos

Chatham-Kent police said unknown suspects entered a fenced compound at Delta Power in Tilbury early Saturday morning.

Once inside, the suspects took a black and tan 2021 CanAm X3 Turbo utility task vehicle valued at $50,000 and two black GTX Limited Seadoos with an aluminum trailer valued at $35,000.

Crash causes $30K in damage

On Saturday morning, police responded to a single-vehicle collision in the area of ​​Queen’s Line and Drake Road.

The driver reportedly lost control and struck a hydro pole. The 25-year-old driver was charged with careless driving, with total damage estimated at approximately $30,000. There were no injuries, police said.

Family argument leads to charges

Police responded Saturday afternoon to an address on Joseph Street in Chatham concerning a family dispute.

A 27-year-old Chatham man was charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling and assault. The man was transported to headquarters and held for bail.
