According to the police, little is known about the man’s exact cause of death. The only thing that is clear is that he went cycling near the center of Spakenburg on Saturday evening, October 28. Later that evening he completed the same route on foot in the opposite direction, without a bicycle. Three days later, the police received a report about unwellness in a home in Bunschoten-Spakenburg. It turned out to be the 40-year-old man, who was subsequently admitted to hospital. The man then died on Friday, November 3.
