A former police officer in Gothenburg is being prosecuted for a suspected data breach in the police system, writes the Siren news agency. The beatings in the system concerned a gang criminal man with whom the female police officer had an intimate relationship. According to the indictment, the woman is suspected of having made unauthorized hits in the police’s IT system on 52 occasions – and the hits concerned the man she allegedly had a relationship with and his relatives. The man the policewoman had a relationship with has previously been convicted of crimes together with several people who belong to a criminal network in Gothenburg, Siren reports. He is described as known to the police and the crime he was convicted of was money laundering.
