The suspect was in the process of breaking a door in the stairwell when the patrol arrived. The police were forced to use both hand and foot shackles and a spray to calm him down. Despite that, the man managed to injure one of the police officers with a knife.
However, the injury was not more serious than the police in question being able to leave the hospital after checking.
The man taken into custody has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, but more criminal charges may be added during the day.
