Serbia held parliamentary and local elections on December 17, and incumbent President Aleksandar Vucic claimed an early victory for his party, the right-wing populist SNS.
International election observers have reported irregularities and vote-buying, and since then the protests in Belgrade have alternated.
On Sunday evening, protesters tried to enter the city council building in the capital.
Windows were smashed and stakes and eggs were thrown.
– The scenes are dramatic because we are not used to someone breaking windows. But no revolution is taking place and they will not succeed, says Aleksandar Vucic in an interview with Aleksandar Vucic.
