Police house cordoned off – suspicious object found

The police station in Lund has been cordoned off after a suspicious object was discovered outside the personnel entrance on Wednesday night.

The item was found by a police officer at 1am and the National Bomb Squad is on its way to the scene.

– The object looks like a classic nitrous oxide tube, but you cannot see properly without going right up to the object and due to the recent events in Lund, we are handling it this way, says Jerker Olsson, officer on duty at police region South.
