Police fired warning shots – two arrested

Police fired warning shots two arrested

The police have fired warning shots in connection with an operation in Bromma in western Stockholm. Two underage boys have been arrested on suspicion of a felony.

Several police patrols rushed to Bromma shortly after six o’clock on Wednesday evening due to an ongoing investigation.

– We met two people who are now arrested. We found a weapon in connection with the arrest. During the police operation, a police officer fired a warning shot. No one was hit or injured, says police spokeswoman Anna Westberg.

– We had, among other things, a dog patrol, which made the arrest possible.

The police do not want to say what the ongoing investigation is about.

– It is a suspected crime that we are still working on. This is a case that was initiated yesterday, says Anna Westberg.

The warning shot will be investigated according to routine.
