A former civilian employee of the police in Örebro County is charged on suspicion of having stolen at least SEK 50,000 from a cash register.
The thefts must have taken place on repeated occasions over a two-year period, reports P4 Örebro.
Lost property money handed in by the public was stored in the cash register, writes Aftonbladet. The accused admits that he took money, but says that the idea was for it to be returned.
