A 44-year-old Oxford County man was charged after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a house.
Norfolk OPP responded just after 6:30 pm on Friday, January 17 to a single-vehicle collision on Little Lake Road in Windham, Norfolk County.
Officers conducted a sobriety assessment after locating the driver and took him into custody. No injuries were reported.
The accused is charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), dangerous operation of a vehicle, fail to surrender insurance card, and driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available.
Impaired driving charges
Norfolk County OPP responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver at about 10 pm on Saturday, January 18.

A sedan driving along Blueline Road near Port Dover left the roadway and struck a guardrail.
The vehicle was located some time later on Highway 6 in the Woodhouse area where officers arrested the driver.
A 27-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), fair to remain, and having care or control of a motor vehicle with open container of liquor.
Trucks stolen
Norfolk County OPP are hoping the public can help locate two stolen pickup trucks and those responsible for the thefts.
Police were called to a Windham Road 13, Delhi address just after 1 pm on Saturday, January 18 where a blue 2006 Chevrolet Silverado with 20-inch chrome rims was stolen during the overnight hours.

On Sunday morning, police investigated the theft of a black 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 pickup truck with a gray 2006 Pace utility trailer.
The truck and trailer were stolen overnight from a St. James Street South address in Waterford.

Driver faces loads
A rollover collision resulted in impaired driving charges for a 24-year-old Brant County man.
Brant County OPP responded to the collision involving a vehicle traveling eastbound that rolled into the ditch on Highway 403 near Bishopsgate Road at about 4:05 am on Sunday, January 19.

Officers located the vehicle, and a man who identified himself as the driver walking along the highway.
Officers suspected the driver was impaired by alcohol and took him into custody.
The accused has been charged with operation while impaired, and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), has had his vehicle impounded for seven days and license suspended for 90 days.
Impaired driving charge
A 32-year-old Brant County man has been charged with impaired driving.
An officer on patrol just after 1 am on Saturday, January 18 stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at Grand River Street North and Mechanic Street in Paris.
While speaking with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment and administered a roadside screening test. The driver was arrested and taken to the detachment for further testing where he was charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
