It was when the boy and his father were visiting the home of the police dog handler in a town in Jönköping county that he was jumped on. The dog lunged unprovoked, according to the police agency’s document, and bit the boy in the face. He received a gash on his right cheek and his jacket was destroyed.
The police authority has now decided to pay out SEK 7,500 in damages for costs and for pain and suffering.
