No other road users were involved in the accident, police said. The driver of the police car is believed to have swerved and crashed into a lamppost. Four to five bicycles and a container from a nearby bicycle shop and a parked car were also hit, reports an employee of the shop. The damage to the two cars is extensive, as can be seen in photos.
