In a “targeted police operation” on Wednesday, a dead female body was found in a wooded area east of Vetlanda.
At a press conference on Wednesday evening, the police confirm that it is missing Tove, 21, who was found dead.

Two women of the same age are still in custody on suspicion of kidnapping. They have not yet been heard from after Tove was found, state the police, who at the same time announce that there are currently no others suspected of crime.
21-year-old Tove disappeared after a night out in Vetlanda on the night of October 16. For just over two weeks, the police, military and voluntary organizations have carried out several major search operations in and around Vetlanda, but it was only on Wednesday that the find was made.
– At this stage, I cannot go into details, but I can say that it is a large amount of investigative measures that, in total, led us to this location, says Jonas Lindell to TV4 Nyheterna.
