The wave of violence that Sweden was affected during the beginning of 2025 is broken, according to National Police Chief Petra Lundh.
– We have managed to interrupt the wave of violence as it seems here and now, she says in SVT’s morning studio.
During January, 32 blasts occurred, especially the Greater Stockholm area.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) called the many explosives “domestic terrorism”.
According to Petra Lundh, several strikes, including bombers, have produced results.
– The police work is incredibly important to interrupt the wave of violence and what we can see today has calmed down.
