Police chasing a man at Copenhagen Airport, airspace closed Brief news

The airspace of the Copenhagen Airport has been closed due to a police operation, says, among other things Danish Broadcasting Company Dr. and Newspaper Politiken.

Police are looking for a man in the airport area who previously fled the police by car. The man drove his car towards the airport fence that fell. He then disappeared into the airport area.

According to police, the man fled the police with a stolen Land Rover with Swedish license plates. Police say they do not know more about the man. The incident happened around half past five Finnish time.

The airspace was opened again just before eight Finnish time. According to the airport, the airspace closure did not have much effect on air traffic.
