POLICE BRIEFS Trailer stolen in Komoka

Mississauga man dies in collision

Police have identified a Mississauga man as having died during a collision between a transport truck and a SUV in Adelaide Metcalfe on Dec. 2.

Provincial police say William Michael Jolly, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Middlesex OPP responded at 2:10 pm to Egremont Drive, just east of Kerwood Road. Also attending was the Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Adelaide Metcalfe firefighters.

Jolly was identified as being the driver of an SUV.

Two patients were rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Trailer stolen in Komoka

A silver-coloured utility trailer was stolen from a Union Avenue address in Komoka earlier this month.

Provincial police say the theft was reported on Dec. 4.

It was determined that someone gained entry to the property sometime during the overnight hours.

The investigation is continuing.

Mischief charged against resident

A 44-year-old North Middlesex resident has been charged with domestic mischief.

Provincial police say they were dispatched at 11:08 pm on Dec. 3 to Parkhill.

As a result, a resident was charged.

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date to speak to the charges.

Storage container broken into

A storage container on a building site in Lucan Biddulph was broken into earlier this month.

Provincial police were dispatched to a construction site on Elginfield Road on Dec. 5.

It was determined that someone had broken into a storage container sometime during the overnight hours. It is unknown at this time what has been taken.

The investigation is continuing.
